New Hampshire Adjuster and Producer License Status Definitions
Active: The license is active and the licensee is authorized to conduct the business of insurance for the license type and lines of authority listed.
Inactive: The license has been cancelled by the licensee as a voluntary surrender prior to expiration or it has been in Expired status for more than two years. The licensee is not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH. New application procedures are required to reactivate the license.
Deceased: Self Explanatory.
Expired: License has passed the expiration date and was not renewed. The licensee is not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH. This status will remain in effect for two years past the expiration date at which time the status will be changed to Cancelled. While in Expired status, the license may be reinstated and activated if the required continuing education has been completed.
Extended: The licensee IS authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH but has an extension of time in which to complete their required continuing education prior to renewal.
Rejected: Application was rejected for technical reasons or it was an incomplete application. The individual or business entity is not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH.
Revoked: The individual or business entity license was revoked for cause and they are not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH.
Submitted: The application was processed electronically and is pending approval. The applicant is not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH.
Suspended: This status is a temporary cancellation. The individual or business entity is not authorized to conduct the business of insurance in NH.
